Our flagship NFT product “DeGacha”, successfully launched four days ago. We’re extremely proud to be the pioneers of the world’s first fully decentralized Gachapon machine, delivering the complete experience including eye-popping visuals & sound effects. Behind the scenes, everything is managed by our custom smart contracts, & IPFS for permanent storage of the NFT data.
First, let’s look at some stats.
- 2400 + spins in just four days, despite the crazy Gas fees
- 117 unique holders of our Pixelated Retro Japan NFTs
- 144k + AZUKI has been burned, permanently removed from the supply
- On average, each individual player spun the machine over 18 times! That’s a lot. Gacha is addicting, who would’ve thought?
No issues have been identified with our machine contracts, in terms of safety, fairness, and distribution of the NFTs. This is key, as it gives us the confidence to start marketing our product to a broader audience of both creators & collectors.
We also announced a collaboration with the one and only Pranksy, one of if not the best-selling artist of all time on Rarible!
We can’t wait to see what kind of brilliant creations Pranksy will load into his personal Gachapon machine!
Our goal for 2021 is to deploy at least 100 machines.
Seems like a stretch? We don’t think so. In just three days after launch, 7 additional machines have already been added to the pipeline. Now that’s a lot for us to manage ourselves. Thus the biggest priority for us right now is to stream-line the onboarding process & develop a system we call “Creators Dashboard”, where approved users(artists, brands, other projects) can create & self-manage their own machine!
On the technical side of things…the following patches have been applied to the website:
- featured NFTs scrolling bug fix
- load order optimization
- .gif playback optimization when balls appear
- fixed the occasional bug where balls don’t appear after tx confirmation
- featured NFTs mouseover hover flickering
Exciting times are ahead for DeGacha.
