  • 1st Prize : 6,000 AZUKI ($6,500 in cash minimum) & A Doki Doki branded DeGacha Machine
  • 2nd Prize : 2,500 AZUKI ($2500 in cash minimum)
  • Community Vote Choice : 1,500 AZUKI ($2000 in cash minimum)
  • Semi-finalists (max 5) : 300 AZUKI ($200 in cash minimum)

*Total of cash prizes are amenable according to the rates of $AZUKI by the time contest officially ends, to be sent through Paypal.* There will be no deductions of cash prizes from the minimum amount provided

  1. Minimum 5 artworks per project submission based on the theme, “Heartbeat”. Colored and monochrome works accepted however drafts and incomplete sketches are considered an invalid entry
  2. Chibi, Non-Chibi, Full-body, Half-body, and Headshot artworks of character designs are all accepted. Items and Animal Mascots designs are also allowed for the project submission. The media (traditional, digital, pixel etc) and stylistic choice for artworks may be decided freely by the entrants
  3. Entrants are free to upload works-in-progress of their project submissions on any social media with the tag #dokidoki_contest2, but project submitted must be completed works
  4. Finished artworks must contain “dokidoki” or “DOKIDOKI” in any placement on each artwork
  5. Each artwork should have written description/lore not longer than 350 words, focusing on the subject of artwork and outlining the lore of the project submission
  6. Entrants are also allowed and highly encouraged to submit full illustration(s), polished animatic(s), animated music video(s), visual novel(s), webcomic/manga, or any similar media to further illustrate and expand the lore of the project submission. Extra materials made for the contest will be judged appropriately
  7. Sample of artworks eligible for entry :
  1. Join DokiDoki’s official Discord and post the project submission (mandatory minimum 5 artworks) in the #art-contest2 channel. A group entrant may send their representative/group leader to submit it
  2. Create a Google Doc for the written lore of each artwork as well as listing down the links to finished projects + WIPs posted in social media and a list of members artist name for a group submission. You may also list down the role(s) of each member
  3. Compile the artworks and the Doc in a Drive file and ensure the links are completely accessible to be viewed, failure to do so by the contest deadline will invalidate the entry
  1. Final winners will be announced on 10th June 2021
  2. One 1st place winner, one 2nd place winner, and one DokiDoki community voted winner will be selected from all eligible and qualified submissions by a panel of judges comprised of DokiDoki’s eleven team members and DokiDoki community
  3. The winners will be selected on the basis of:
  • Lore writing and the idea of the project submission
  • Originality and stylistic choice of the entry artworks
  • Character/Item/Animal designs, animate and inanimate
  • Execution and success of portraying the contest’s theme, “Heartbeat

4. The judge’s decision and community tallied votes are final on all matters relating to the contest

5. The sponsor (DokiDoki) reserves the right to invalidate the prizes should the winning submissions failed to meet the criteria or comply with contest rules provided at the sponsor’s own discretion

  1. Age requirements for solo/group members entrants should be above 13 years old as of January 2021
  2. Entrants have their own Crypto Wallet and/or Paypal
  3. 100% original artworks and written lore only. Do not steal existing art and edit it for submission. Do not adapt any existing Personal OCs, previously written lore for personal use (Role-play, Headcanons, etc of Personal OCs), and lore from your closed species for the contest submission. Failure to comply will render the entire project submission to be void and invalid for judgment
  4. You may use inspirations from the public domain and create a project series based on Fairy Tales, Books, Fruits, and Food, etc provided you follow the contest theme in terms of lore writing
  5. You are allowed to adapt DokiDoki’s official mascots DOKI and AZUKI into the lore and project submission
  6. No explicit NSFW themes. Do not submit porn to the contest.
  7. No obvious deaths, however, implied deaths and angst are accepted
  8. No heavy political allusions or portrayals of racial insensitivities in artworks submissions. Please be civil. Keep it rated PG13
  9. One entry/project submission per person. Solo and group entrants are allowed. A group member may submit a project of their own as a separate entity from the group. Minimum 2 members for a group entry
